Advanced VR in Unreal Engine 5


This course covers the basics of using the Unreal Engine 5 game engine to create engaging, interactive visualisations with high-fidelity and cinematic images of your architectural designs. These skills can be applied from a small scale such as a room all the way to a large scale such as a precinct or city. The course covers using the engine to create an environment, as well as some basic visual scripting to add interactivity to the environment. The course also demonstrates how to view our environment using a VR headset such as the Meta Quest.

  1. Participants will be able to create interactive visualizations using Unreal Engine 5, applying techniques for high-fidelity and cinematic rendering at various scales, from small rooms to entire cities.
  2. Participants will be able to utilize visual scripting within Unreal Engine 5 to add interactivity to architectural environments, enhancing the user experience with dynamic elements.
  3. Participants will be able to implement VR capabilities in their projects, including the ability to view environments using VR headsets like the Meta Quest, to provide immersive experiences.
  4. Participants will be able to develop skills in importing and managing assets within Unreal Engine 5, ensuring efficient project workflows and high-quality visual outputs.
