Selecting objects in Revit can often be tedious as the Window Selection tool often selects many objects at once. To select a particular element without selecting every object within the window, you can use the Filter selection tool.

The Filter selection tool allows you to select Revit elements by category, making it easy to select only certain objects within your project.
