Digital Design 2020 Event Kicks Off In Style

Digital Design 2020 is four events being run across Australia throughout the month of February to packed houses.

Digital Design 2020 is an exclusive national tour to gather Australia’s very-best architects, building designers, developers, engineers, project managers, IT, Government, Education and Commercial Executives.

This tour is sponsored by Autodesk, Dropbox, Microsoft and IDDA and explores the future of Digital Design and where it will be in the year 2020.

There were many highlights on the night.

Clare Wharrier from Autodesk gave a fascinating insight into The Future of Making Things.

Daniel Iversen from Dropbox showed us what the future of collaboration looks like.

And Dr. Ben described wowed the audience with six new Digital Design job roles that don’t exist today.

A highlight of the event was the launch of the ArchiStarr building intelligence platform.

Urban Developer Magazine called ArchiStarr a “Game Changing Software Platform” for planning and development.

The Microsoft stand was a huge hit! With six Surface tablets and a huge display, it was a popular destination for many of the attendees.

Iyad Horani from Ironic3D was the happy winner of a top of the line Microsoft Surface, and Tim Fitzhardinge from Wood & Grieve Engineers won the $10,000 IDDA ELITE e-Learning company subscription!

“We are delighted to win the IDDA ELITE E-Learning Subscription. We are excited to roll out this world-class training platform to our Australian and overseas offices.” – Tim Fitzhardinge, Civil Senior Engineer, Wood & Grieve Engineers.
